National Testing Program
The National Testing Program (NTP) is AMADA's annual risk-based plan that allocates tests across sports, disciplines and athlete categories. It draws on intelligence, athlete biological passport data and international cooperation.
Program Components
- Risk assessment by sport — physiological demands, doping history, event calendar
- Registered Testing Pool (RTP) — priority athletes subject to whereabouts
- In-competition testing at national championships and selection events
- Out-of-competition testing with no advance notice
- Target testing based on intelligence
- Long-term sample storage for re-analysis as detection methods improve

- ~1500 samples planned
- Coverage of 30+ sports
- ≥40% out-of-competition share
